Is this the woman that came between Eva Longoria and her husband?

And Longoria filed for divorce yesterday after confiding in friend Mario Lopez that she had discovered 'hundreds of texts' from another woman, now alleged to be Barry, on husband Tony Parker's phone.

It appears a Sports Illustrated writer was the first person to suggest Erin Barry's involvement in the couple's split.

Reporter Bryan Armen Graham wrote on his Twitter page: 'Have it on good authority from entertainment sources that ‘former teammate’ in Tony Parker-Eva Longoria affair is Brent Barry.'

He later added: 'Don’t have much else on Parker/Longoria affair. Source did mention Barry and wife are going through a divorce.

Erin Barry, the wife of Tony Parker's former teammate, has been named as 'the other woman' in Eva Longoria's divorce.

Access Hollywood reports that Parker sent hundreds of 'sex texts' to the woman, who is married to former NBA basketball star Brent Barry.

The sportsmen played together for the San Antonia Spurs from 2004 to 2008, and the two couples became friends.

Brent Barry, 38, filed for divorce from wife Erin on October 29, according to Access Hollywood.

'Longoria said she found text messages from wife of a former teammate on Parker’s phone. Source says former teammate was Barry.'

The Desperate Housewives star, 35, confided to her friend Mario Lopez - host of U.S. entertainment show Extra - that Parker had previously cheated on her with another woman during their marriage.

The actress also confirmed to Lopez that she found hundreds of text messages from another woman on Parker's phone, who turned out to be the wife of one of the NBA player's teammates at the San Antonio Spurs.

Access Hollywood reports that when they reached Mrs Barry over phone, she was 'audibly emotional' and declined to comment on the matter.

Split: Eva Longoria has filed for divorce from husband Tony Parker after three

Celebrity news blog E! Online reported that although Parker and Erin had exchanged 'naughty' messages there was 'no physical relationship.'

Longoria told Lopez that her estranged husband cheated on her with yet another woman with whom he kept in touch via Facebook.

'She is devastated, she wants us all to know that,' Lopez said. 'But she's strong.'

Longoria confirmed the split today, tweeting: 'It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness.'

Her husband later tweeted the same message.

Longoria has cancelled her November 21 appearance at the American Music Awards.

Court documents show Eva Longoria filed for divorce from Parker in Los Angeles Superior Court November 17 - the day after her publicist denied reports that Parker, 27, had filed papers in Texas.

Longoria's full name in the papers is listed as Eva Jaqueline Longoria Parker.

An insider said: 'Eva is heartbroken by the betrayal,' adding that Tony admitted to the behaviour after Eva confronted him.

Eva and Tony were engaged in November 2006 and married in July of 2007 in a Roman Catholic ceremony in Paris, France.

They first met after a San Antonio Spurs basketball game, when she and her father Enrique were invited back to the team’s press room to meet the players.

Eva and Tony immediately hit it off, and he asked Eva and her father to join him for dinner.

And according to the actress, he had no idea that she was famous.

Eva says, 'He was the last person on earth who hadn’t seen Desperate Housewives! We have the 20th Anniversary DVD. We watched all six in a row.'

And Tony was clearly smitten by the pint-sized brunette.

He said: 'I really thought she was very beautiful inside and had a good heart. She’s very family oriented, and me.. I love my family and my friends. She’s the same way.'

Their wedding took place at the Saint-Germain l'Auxerrois Church in Paris, across from the Louvre.

And it was a lavish event even by Hollywood standards.

Desperate Housewives producer Marc Cherry was a guest at the wedding, along with Eva's co-stars Teri Hatcher, Nicolette Sheridan and Felicity Huffman.

And he was overwhelmed with the opulence on display.

Cherry said: 'It was the kind of thing where you were kind of like, "I didn't know I knew people this rich".

'The chateau where the reception was was kind of like a mini Versailles and the cathedral, it was the nicest wedding I've ever been to in terms of where the wedding took place.

And he believed that the couple were truly in love.

Cherry said: 'There were all kinds of fans outside, paparazzi and you really felt like you were part of an event. I was just going to the wedding of a friend and suddenly realised, "This will be the only time I ever go to a wedding like this in my life" and it was really a lot of fun.

'The thing that made it really special for me was that after all the glamour and the glitz and stuff, when it came to the wedding toast, they were just like any other couple in love, they were both adorable.'

Eva and French-born Tony enjoyed an extended European break over the summer, taking in places including Venice and Croatia.

In the past Eva has spoke of her plans to quit the U.S. once her show Desperate Housewives comes to and end and move to Parker's French homeland.

She was quoted as saying in an interview earlier this year: 'I feel at home when I go there. So for me to actually be there is always a joy.'

Longoria was previously married to American soap star Tyler Christopher from 2002 until 2004.
