"The Script" Talks About Their Manila Experience!

Irish band "The Script" is in the country for their one night concert at the Araneta Coliseum Saturday evening.

The band made popular hits like "Breakeven," "The Man Who Can't be Moved," "Nothing" and many more.

On their first visit to the Philippines, the group jokingly shared their experience with Manila traffic.

I think we're the only people who were happy to be stuck in traffic... We got to see a lot. We said, 'Stop, we wanna look at this for a moment',” said band member Danny O’Donoghue.

Since arriving in the country on Friday, they bragged about the Filipino dishes that they have already tried like the all-time Pinoy favorite dessert, halo-halo.

I had pork, squid and I had dessert, it had a lot in it. Yes [halo-halo]. It's quite a lot like dinner because it's so big, but it was nice,” said another band member Glen Power.

The band was overwhelmed by the warm welcome given by their Filipino fans.

The said they are eager to perform in front of their sold out crowd.

The band’s performance in the country closes their concert tour.

You got to bring it tonight, this is our last night on our tour...most importantly, just bring your energy. It's going to be brilliant tonight,” O’Donoghue said.
