Phoenix Suns CEO comes out of the closet....

                                                     Shocker, Huh?

PHOENIX, May 16 (UPI) -- Phoenix Suns President and Chief Executive Officer Rick Welts has disclosed publicly he is gay, The New York Times reports.
The newspaper reported on its Web site Sunday that Welts discussed his plans to reveal his sexual orientation with NBA Commissioner David Stern last month in New York.

No real story here. Although he is the first major sports executive to come out of the closet. But this got some of us talking about who is/was the biggest sports star that's rumored to be gay. And I said Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar, and everyone else in the room had no idea what I was talking about. But its pretty well known that the best second baseman (arguably) in the last 20 years, is a gay. In fact, his spitting incident with an umpire was because that umpire, John Hirschbeck, called him a faggot. If you go back to that video you can see the ump say something that started with a 'F' and then Alomar goes ballistic.

But there's also other evidence. Do you remember Mike Piazza coming out and saying "I'm not gay" in response to an article in the New York Post Page 6 section about a NY Mets All-Star spotted coming out of a gay bar holding hands with another male? Well, everyone thought it was about Piazza, but the writer was really talking about Alomar, who was a teammate of Piazza's at the time.....
