Lee Min-Ho Hurt in a Car Crash


Hottest Korean star Lee Min-Ho, popularly known as Gu Jun Pyo in "Boys Over Flowers" was involved in a car accident during the filming for his latest drama series "City Hunter".

Lee Min-ho was shooting a car chase scene when his vehicle crashed into a parked truck belonging to a subcontractor hired by the Ilsan District Office for city work at around 3:30 p.m. on June 13 in Ilsan in Gyeonggi, South Korea. The impact of the crash was strong enough that the entire front portion of Lee Min-ho’s car was severely damaged that inflated the airbag.




The actor and his companion inside the car - a staff of the TV production company - were rushed to the Ilsan hospital emergency room for examination and treatment. Luckily, the actor and the crew member suffered no serious or visible injuries.

Lee Min-ho plays Lee Yoon Sung in "City Hunter", a government agent who works at the National Communication Network Team of the Blue House, Korea’s presidential palace. His mission is to take down the "Group of Five" responsible for his father's unjust death.

“City Hunter” is based on the Japanese manga series by Tsukasa Hojo that was published from 1985 to 1991.
