Tatum O'Neal Revelead Abuse and Drug Use in "Found: A Daughter's Journey Home", Stars with Father Ryan O'Neal in OWN Documentary Series "The O'Neals: Ryan and Tatum"

Former child star Tatum O'Neal will be coming out with a new memoir called "Found: A Daughter's Journey Home".

Already available on Tuesday, June 21, "Found: A Daughter's Journey Home" is a follow-up memoir to her book "A Paper Life" which she released back in 2004.

In "Found", Tatum details her early childhood abuse at the hands of her mother and her mother's boyfriend. How her father, actor Ryan O'Neal, saved her and show she became part of "Paper Moon" where she won an Oscars.

Expect her also to reveal how her relationship with her dad became strained and her life became wild during her teens. Her married life, divorce and how she became addicted to heroin until she landed in jail in 2008 were also exposed in this memoir.

Now starting to live a good life, Tatum and her father Ryan will be starring in a new documentary series produced by Oprah's OWN network called "The O'Neals: Ryan and Tatum".

"I sort of took a journey with my dad with this show to see what would happen. It didn't necessarily - make us together. It didn't necessarily push us to this happy ending." she said of her new show, adding "This is about forgiveness...this is about trying to shut a door and open another one. I don't know if it's going to work. It may or it may not, but I'm going to try."
