PBB Says Goodbye to Eslove Briones, Welcomes Jovic Susim

Kung isang housemate ang muling lumabas ng Bahay ni Kuya, isang bagong housemate naman ang pumasok sa kanyang bahay noong Huwebes (Abril 29) at ito ay si Jovic Susim - ang Diplomatic Son ng Albay!

Mula sa isang political family itong si Jovic sa kanyang bayan at tulad ng kanyang ama ay pangarap niya rin ang makapaglingkod sa bayan. Pero dahil siya ay bata pa, ine-enjoy ng tall-dark-and-handsome basketball varsity player na ito ang kanyang kabataan sa sari-saring sports tulad ng basketball at golf. Glee Episode 16 Recap – "Home" Episode

Sue is under the impression that she’s getting her own cover story in a magazine based on her A+ coaching skills. She is devoting all her time to making sure that no one gets in the way of making her look her best and that of course includes glee. She hijacks the auditorium for her Cheerios, making it impossible for the glee kids to rehearse. Will needs to find a new place for them all to practice because the Cheerios apparently can’t stand the wind. Couldn’t they just rehearse in the gym? Wouldn’t that have more room? Anyway, Will’s first idea for a space is the town roller rink. And wouldn’t you know it his old pal April (guest star Kristin Chenoweth) is the new owner. She’s very excited to see Will because she just had a sex dream about him and immediately ropes him into performing a duet of Fire. She’ll do anything for the permed wonder and agrees to allow the kids to use the space. In return she asks Will to allow her to stay with him in his apartment because she’s lonely. Will tries not to let it bother him when she shows up with her own booze but soon enough they’re in the same bed belting out some Burt Bacharach. They’re both lonely and One Less Bell to Answer is the obvious song of choice for the blues.

Sue wants all her Cheerios in top form for when the interview takes place and sets out to critique their physical appearances in the harshest ways possible. She’s annoyed that Mercedes refuses to wear the normal girls skirt with her uniform and Kurt tells her she shouldn’t be embarrassed of her body. Quick to defend herself, Mercedes reasons that she was only afraid to show more skin for fear of starting a sex riot. Hahaha get it girl. Sue isn’t laughing and demands she lose 10 pounds in a week and Kurt can join her. Eesh. Mercedes takes the healthy approach but it’s not good enough. Everyone is pressuring her to do whatever it takes to lose the weight. Kurt tells her to eat nothing but celery and Santana tells her to drink Sue’s weight cleanse drink that’s really nothing but a mixture of a bunch of nasty things to irritate the bowels. I don’t go around talking about bowels being irritated, i’m just quoting Sue here. Mercedes starts to snap at her friends and her mind turns Artie into a piece of cheese cake and Jesse into a hamburger. She faints from starving herself and Quinn comes to her mental rescue. Mercedes doesn’t really want to hear any advice from the “pretty blonde with the white girl ass” and I don’t entirely blame her. But Quinn is right in telling Mercedes she’s beautiful and she should be healthy for her and not someone else. It’s nice seeing Quinn being human. And there’s the baby bump! Mercedes sabotages (although for a good cause) the Cheerio performance and sings Beautiful by Christina Aguilera and most of the school joins in.

Kurt hasn’t given up on his crush on Finn and decides to use his dad as bait to get what he wants. He sets up Burt with Finn’s mom and they hit it off better than expected. So well that Finn’s mom is selling her old furniture and Kurt is picking out bedroom sets for the room he intends to share with a bewildered Finn. Kurt is being such a creeper here. He serenades Finn with A House Is Not a Home in front of the rest of Glee and it’s really awkward to me. Sure he sounds great but does he really think he’s going to convert Finn here? I think Finn is trying to block out Kurt’s advances and spends his time singing and thinking about his dad. Finn and Kurt accompany their parents on their date and Finn gets to see with his own eyes that his mom loves Burt. It’s so weird seeing Mike O’Malley without a hat on. Kurt’s plan backfires here when Finn and Burt bond over sports and he feels left out. You can’t have it all Kurt! You wanted to share your dad.

Kurt tries to get Finn to agree to break up their parents and it instead gets Finn into a massive fight with his mom. Finn is understandably comfortable with the life he has with his mother because its the only thing he’s ever known. His mom isn’t happy and while she misses her husband, she wants more out of life. I understand that she deserves that but I thought her basically implying that Finn should stop wasting his time thinking about his dad because he never got a chance to know him was weird and kind of harsh. It’s not Finn’s fault his dad died before he got to know him and it doesn’t make his feelings any less important. Finn and Burt share a moment and Finn accepts Burt into his life. I almost cried when Finn offered Burt his father’s old chair. April then buys the auditorium (from the school?) and the rest of the Glee kids have a home.

I really like that the show is making an effort to showcase some other characters and give them their own storylines but i felt it could have been possible to do it without slowing things down so much. I feel like Kristin did the majority of the singing tonight when I would have rather heard from some of the others. I also enjoyed seeing Jesse’s lovely face for however brief a moment it was. Even as a hamburger he is a welcome presence in my book.

Eslove Briones is the 2nd Forced Evicted Housemates of PBB Teen Clash 2010

Eslove Briones, the "Sigang Istokwa ng Tawi-Tawi," became the second housemate to get forced evicted from Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010.

Big Brother invoked the "violent behavior" rule against Eslove Briones because he played with a knife acting as if he is about to stab a fellow housemate.

The rule says it clearly that "any housemate who becomes violent will be removed from the house immediately."

Although the act was supposed to be a joke, Big Brother is very strict in the rule that any form of violence is strictly prohibited inside the house. It’s interesting to note that this was also the rule broken by PBB Double UP housemate Tom Rodriguez (formerly Tom Mott) who got pissed off during a competition and started to punch the wall.

Sistema Operativo fallido - Novia 7.0 - Esposa 1.0

Carta dirigida a un servicio técnico

Estimados Señores:

El año pasado cambié de la versión NOVIA 7.0 a la versión ESPOSA 1.0, y he observado que el programa al cabo de un tiempo comenzó con unos procesos inesperados de subrutinas, que luego fueron a más, descargándose un programa oculto denominado HIJO 1.0 que me ocupa muchísimo espacio de disco duro, utiliza recursos importantes, y además enlentece de forma alarmante el Sistema Operativo.

Por otra parte, ESPOSA 1.0 se auto instala como residente en la memoria RAM y se lanza durante el inicio de cualquier aplicación, monitorizando todas las actividades del sistema.

· Aplicaciones como:
· CHELA CON AMIGOS 10.3
· NOCHE DE JUERGA 2.5
· FÚTBOL DOMINGUERO 5.0,
ya no funcionan normalmente y el sistema se cae cada vez que intento ejecutarlos.

De vez en cuando se lanza un programa oculto (creo que es un troyano) denominado SUEGRA 1.0 que aparece cerrando varios puertos de conexiones, y consigue colgar el sistema, o que ESPOSA 1.0 se comporte de manera totalmente impredecible, por ejemplo, dejando de atender a cualquier comando que quiera introducir.

Estoy pensando en volver al programa anterior NOVIA 7.0, pero no he podido desinstalar a ESPOSA 1.0 o al menos mantenerlo minimizado.

Estimado usuario afligido:

· Este es un motivo de queja muy común entre los usuarios. Se debe, en la mayoría de los casos, a un error básico de concepto. Mucha gente pasa de cualquier versión de Novia X.0 a Esposa 1.0 con la idea de que es solo un programa de Entretenimiento y Utilidades. Sin embargo, Esposa 1.0 es un SISTEMA OPERATIVO COMPLETO, diseñado para controlar TODO el sistema.

Es muy poco probable que usted pueda desinstalar Esposa 1.0 y regresar a cualquier versión de Novia X.0. Es casi imposible desinstalar o eliminar los archivos del programa una vez instalados.
· Lo mismo pasa con Suegra 1.0 que es una aplicación oculta que se instala en la RAM mientras Esposa 1.0 funciona.

Hay quienes han intentado el formateo a baja densidad, para luego instalar los programas Novia Plus o Trampa 2.0, pero terminan con más problemas que antes, (vea en el Manual, el capítulo “Pago de Pensiones" y "Mantenimiento de Hijos“).

· Considere la posibilidad de instalar algún software adicional para mejorar el rendimiento de Esposa 1.0. Son especialmente recomendables, como: PedirPerdon. Exe, Flores 5.0, Joyas 2.3; también puede usar Loquetudigas v9.7. Y evite el uso excesivo de la tecla “ESC”

JAMAS instale Secretariaconminifa lda 3.3, Amiguitacariñ osa 6.9 o Amigotesinoportunos 4.6.
· Estos programas NO funcionan bajo Esposa 1.0, y muy probablemente, causen daños irreversibles e irreparables al Sistema Operativo.

· Si todas las opciones fallan, puede optar por sistemas basados en otras plataformas existentes en el mercado pero bajo su propio riesgo como Celibato 1.0 o Maricón 5.3.

Romeo ‘Potz’ Jolosjos is the Second Evicted Teen Housemate of PBB Teen Clash 2010

The "Political Son ng Dipolog" Romeo "Potz" Jalosjos III, who also planned of leaving voluntarily the PBB house earlier this week, got the boot in Kuya's house. He became the second teen housemate to be evicted but the first to get the eviction through text voting in the 1st Eviction Night of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010.

"Take Me Out" is GMA’s Newest and Exciting Dating Game Show

Come April 26, the hottest and hippest dating game in the world can now be enjoyed by Filipinos with its localized version on GMA Network! "Take Me Out" invades primetime TV with its playful, highly-amusing vibe and high-caliber production values.

Take Me Out, the country’s first-ever studio-based dating show, is bound to make waves across the archipelago as it sets an arena where singles, who are in search of their perfect match, can find love.

The Platinum Prince of Soul Jay-R hosts the show as he plays matchmaker to a pool of 30 single ladies who hope to meet and date the man of their dreams. He is primed to inject his unique brand of character, charisma and style in hosting the first-of-its-kind reality dating game.

Each of the 30 single ladies, who come from different places with different personalities and backgrounds, are each assigned a specially designed lighted podium with their respective names. The mystery guy must impress the women through first impressions, surprise interviews and videos about himself.

American Police Officer Ryan Navarro is Pokwang's Newest Inspiration

Feeling ni comedienne Pokwang, ang haba-haba ng buhok niya! Kasi may isang foreigner na nagkagusto sa kanya nang mag-show siya sa U.S. kamakailan, kasama ang ilang co-talents niya sa ABS-CBN Star Magic. Siya ang police officer na si Ryan Navarro.

"Sa show namin sa Dallas, dun kami nagkakilala nang bonggang-bongga after ng show. Nanood siya ng show nung time na naka-duty siya. Natuwa siya siguro sa pinag-aarte ko sa stage, although hindi naman niya naiintindihan. And then after that, may inutusan siya, yung isa sa mga producers namin, nakisuyo siya para manghingi ng autograph sa akin. Tapos binigay niya yung number niya," kuwento ni Pokwang.

After daw nilang magkakilala ay nakipag-date na si Pokwang kay Ryan kinabukasan.

"May free day kami kasi uuwi na kami the next day. Lumabas kami, may dalawang kasama ako from Star Magic. So yun, nag-bonding kami," aniya.

Sa ngayon, tanging sa text na lamang daw nagko-communicate ang dalawa. Pero may plano naman daw dumalaw sa kanya si Ryan dito sa 'Pinas, pero depende yun sa schedule ng komedyante, "Oo. Hinihintay niya lang yung schedule ko. Ayaw niyang sumabay sa trabaho ko. Gusto niya kung kelan ako maluwag, dun siya pupunta rito," sabi ni Pokwang.

Pero mukhang hinde daw agree ang teenager daughter ni Pokwang dito, "Ay, dumi-dedma siya nang bonggang-bongga. Siyempre, hindi siya natutuwa. Alam mo naman, teenager na, di ba, kaya umaarte nang bonggang-bongga? Sabi nya 'Sino na naman 'yan?'"

"Pero matatawa naman siya nang mapanood niya yung balita sa SNN. Sabi niya, 'Ayan ka na naman?' Kasi naalala niya yung Canadian dati, di ba? 'Tapos sabi niya, 'Hmp, tapos wala na naman 'yan,'" pagtatapos ni Pokwang.

Angelica Panganiban, John Lapus and Eugene Domingo Star in Star Cinema's "Here Comes the Bride" + Movie Trailer and Publicity Photos

What would you do if you found yourself in someone else's body? That is what happens to most of the characters in the upcoming comedy film Here Comes the Bride.

Angelica Panganiban takes on the role of Stephanie, a shy bride who suddenly becomes outgoing and runs after boys. Her character is a Maria Clara type of girl who wants to save her virginity for her fiancé Harold (played by Tom Rodriguez).

Produced by Star Cinema, Octoarts and Quantum Films, Here Comes the Bride shows how one accident changes the lives of people who happen to meet at a crossroads. Several vehicles are en route to the wedding of Angelica's character when a solar eclipse suddenly occurs. As people look up to behold the rare event, the vehicles hit each other, triggering a supernatural event—the souls of the people involved transfer to other persons!


And so, the bride-to-be becomes aggressive since the character of John "Sweet" Lapus enters her body. Sweet portrays a gay makeup artist who ends up being in the body of Angelica. When he finds that he has become a sexy woman, he feels empowered and wants to flirt with as many boys as possible.

Meanwhile, the character of Jaime Fabregas finds himself in the body of Sweet. When he learns that he is in the body of much-younger man, he, too, becomes excited and finds a girlfriend in the person of Kai Cortez.

Eugene Domingo's character is a high-powered attorney who is transported to the body of a maid (portrayed by Tuesday Vargas).

All this time, Harold is clueless about the transfer of Stephanie's soul to someone else. Will he figure out what happened and find his true bride? How will they restore the characters to their respective bodies?

Cherry Pie Picache is cast as the mother of Angelica.

Directed by Chris Martinez, Here Comes the Bride will open in cinemas on May 12, 2010.

Roberto Letts Colmenares [biografia] tio de Jaime Bayly

Su vida y pasión eran las minas, aun cuando nunca soñó de niño con ser minero. Roberto “Bobby” Letts Colmenares estudió para abogado en la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) y cumplió su meta de enseñar y ejercer. Sin embargo, en julio de 1972, poco antes de que las tierras de su padre en Sayán fueran expropiadas por la reforma agraria de la dictadura velasquista, se transformó en minero e integró el directorio de la que luego se convertiría en Volcan Compañía Minera , gracias a la herencia que recibió de sus tíos Hugo Cohen y Elsa Letts, con quienes vivía desde poco después de cumplir los 20 años.

Como hijo de terrateniente, Letts creció viendo a su padre madrugar para lidiar con los naranjos y los limones de su chacra La Mina, sin imaginar que la minería se convertiría en su futuro. Y fue quizás entonces cuando forjó la tenacidad que lo caracterizó durante toda su vida.

Como todo hombre poderoso, tuvo a lo largo de su vida defensores y detractores. Lo que para unos era fuerza de carácter, para otros era un temperamento explosivo; y si sus amigos decían que era perseverante, sus enemigos que era caprichoso.

¿Quién fue en realidad Roberto Letts?
Era un amante del mar y la jardinería, que pasaba sus fines de semana en Paracas, navegando, disfrutando de manjares marinos y del buen pisco o cultivando vegetales en su fundo en Huánuco. El abogado Felipe Osterling, quien lo conoció desde los 15 años y además es su cuñado, asegura que “era un hombre brillante, muy inteligente. Con un carácter impetuoso, pero al mismo tiempo muy apegado a sus hermanas”.

Y si bien su pasión, la actividad que concentraba sus sentidos los siete días de la semana era Volcan, Osterling relata que tenía también otras aficiones: una era la inversión bursátil y otra era la investigación histórica. Le encantaba estudiar el pasado y por eso su biblioteca tenía algunos valiosos documentos firmados por Napoleón o Pizarro.
