Putting safety first, all the boys wore cycle helmets - a pretty uncommon sight - in the laidback California tourist spot, but their father chose not to lead by example.
Instead he wore his trademark trendy beanie.
The boys showed their individual personalities through their choice of bike. Brooklyn, who seems most likely to emulate his famous father chose a fixed wheel bike just like his father.
Stylish Romeo, who sometimes favours wearing a three-piece suit when going for dinner with his family chose a sporty road bike, and family ruffian Cruz chose a rough and tumble BMX.
Of course, cycling can be thirsty work, and the boys were in need of some refreshments to keep them cool in the heat.

Wife Victoria was absent from the fun day out as she is back in London working on upcoming projects for Range Rover and her first handbag collection.
The footballer has been in a the eye of a media storm of late - but has managed to spend plenty of time with his beloved boys.
