JLS mobbed by hundreds of female fans at Outta This World album signing

By Daily Mail Reporter

Proud boyband: JLS bandmates JB, Marvin Humes, Oritse Williams and Aston Merrygold hold their new album Outta This World

Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan ‘JB’ Gill and Oritse Williams were greeted by hundreds of screaming JLS female fans as they hit Manchester for their latest album signing.

The boyband’s new album, Outta This World, is a follow up to their debut record, which sold a million and a half copies in the past year, on top of scoring three number ones and winning numerous music awards.

And by the looks of their fan base, Outta This World is set to bring them just as much success.

Screaming fans: Hundreds of female fans showed up at HMV in Manchester to meet and greet the JLS boys

The X Factor runner’s ups have already seen their second album go to number two in the charts, behind Take That, which explained their wide grins at HMV in Manchester.

The boys each held onto a different album cover, adorned with an appropriate boyband pose on the front, as they met the group of excited girls.

One eager fan had even scribbled JLS all over her face, while others held up posters, and wore the band’s T-shirts as they huddled around to take photos.

And now that Marvin is newly single after breaking up with The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman, the fans were no doubt trying to chat him up.

Outta This World features 14 new singles, their first release being The Club Is Alive, which reached number-one on the UK Singles Chart in July this year.

Their second single to be released is Love You More and is set to give the quartet their fourth chart-topper.

Since being signed by Jive Records after appearing in the fifth series of X Factor in 2008, they’ve won two Brit Awards, three Urban Music Awards and four MOBO Awards.
